LAW TO RETURN HOME TO PHOENIX FOR ROLEX GRAND AMERICAN 250 WITH DONOHUE AND BRUMOS PORSCHE

Phoenix resident and Grand American Rolex Sports Car series standout Darren Law is looking forward to a competitive race as he returns home for the Grand American 250 with co-driver David Donohue and the whole #58 Red Bull Brumos Porsche Daytona Prototype team. The 250-mile enduro to be held under the lights of Phoenix International Raceway is set to start the evening of April 10.

The PIR road course is a 1.5 mile tight and twisty track that utilizes some of the banking and much of the infield of the well known 1-mile oval. The current PIR road course lap record for Daytona Prototypes of 57.088 sec. was set by Donohue in the Brumos Porsche, and Law is confident that the Brumos team will once again be a strong force at Phoenix.

"PIR is the kind of track where we should really excel," remarked Law. "I have quite a few laps out here, and vehicle handling, which is definitely a strong point of our Brumos FABCAR, is always at a real premium. I'm looking forward to this race for sure." The Phoenix event also allows Law to compete in the city that he has called home for the past 11 years. "A big reason I enjoy racing here is because I can spend some time with my family," says Law, "and after being on the road for the past few weeks, it'll be great to actually sleep in my own bed. I do a lot of travelling with racing, and although I have been to almost every major city in the U.S., I just can't see myself living anywhere but Phoenix. I really do enjoy it here."
