LAW, DONOHUE, AND BRUMOS EAGER TO REPEAT LAST
YEAR'S SUCCESS AT ROLEX SERIES 6 HEURES DU CIRCUIT MONT-TREMBLANT
Grand American
Rolex series veteran Darren Law will again by co-driving with teammate
David Donohue, as the whole Brumos squad travel to Quebec, Canada
for the fourth round of the 2004 season at Circuit Mont-Tremblant.
The 6 Heures du Circuit Mont-Tremblant will be held the weekend
of May 21-23, and both Law and Donohue are eager to tackle the corner
and elevation filled 2.65 mile circuit, where the #58 Red Bull Brumos
Porsche FABCAR has seen success in the past.
"David won pole position and the race with the Brumos car at
Tremblant last year," remarked Law, "so we are optimistic
about having a good weekend there. Hopefully we can start
to turn things around a bit."
Over the past year, the owners of Cicuit Mont-Tremblant have seen
to several tack and support facility changes to enhance safety,
comfort and race action.
Said Law about the changes, "Mont-Tremblant has always been
a nice place to race, and I'm glad that they decided to widen pit
lane a little bit. It should make it a little easier to maneuver
through there. The new chicane will make the track a little
more technical, and should help keep the racing closer."
The Rolex race is scheduled to start at 11 am EST May 23, and will
be broadcast live on SPEED.
