GRAND AMERICAN ROLEX SERIES PORSCHE
250 AT BARBER NEXT STOP FOR LAW, DONOHUE AND BRUMOS PORSCHE SQUAD
Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series
regulars Darren Law, David Donohue and the Red Bull Brumos Porsche
squad have their preparations for the upcoming Porsche 250 presented
by Bradley Arant to be held July 29th-31st at the immaculately prepared
Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. The #58 Brumos
Porsche team will be looking to improve on their current 9th place
position in the championship points race. The Porsche 250
marks the 8th round of the 14 race Rolex Grand American Series schedule.
"I am really looking forward to this next weekend," remarked
Darren. "Everyone from Brumos, Porsche and FABCAR has
been working very hard with our ongoing development of the car.
With testing between races and continuous work during the race weekends
we have closed the gap to the front of the field."
The Barber Motorsports Park facility, which boasts some of the most
beautifully maintained grounds in the business, also sports a challenging
and technical 2.3 mile circuit which Law, of Phoenix, Arizona has
come to enjoy.
"I always enjoy coming to Barber," enthused Law. "Its
not a super fast track, but it is very technical with some great
corners and elevation changes. It also is one of the best maintained
tracks anywhere."
The Grand American Daytona Prototype machines will take to the track
9:10 am EST for first practice on July 29th. The race will start
the 31st at noon EST, with SPEED Channel coverage set to begin at
1:00 PM EST.
