LAW, DONOHUE, AND BRUMOS PORSCHE SURVIVE WILD ROLEX GRAND AMERICAN WEEKEND AT LAGUNA SECA

In a wild weekend of racing at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Grand American regulars Darren Law, David Donohue and the whole Red Bull Brumos Porsche squad, survived the carnage to finish 14th overall in the Road and Track 250. The 2 hour 45 minute event covered 97 laps and ended under the caution flag, which was shown five times for a total of 32 laps.

Race
Law qualified the #58 Brumos entry 12th in the fifty-one car field. Law pulled out all the stops to turn a lap of 1:26.268 around the 2.238-mile natural terrain road course that sports daunting elevation changes including the famed "corkscrew." Law started the race and tried to maintain a steady pace before turning the car over to teammate Donohue at a yellow flag stop for tires and fuel on lap 22.

"That was a wild race," said Darren following the event. "I was just trying to turn some decent laps and keep the car in good shape for David and just keep out of trouble. It was pretty tough to stay totally clean with all the traffic though, and really I'm glad we were able to finish this one with the car pretty much undamaged. Now we can head to Mont Tremblant and hopefully unload with a solid car."
